Willbrook Plantation is 200 plus houses surrounded by a white split rail fence. What makes those houses homes and this a Community are the owners and residents that live here. Leading the way in making this a better place to live and bringing us together are the volunteers of the support committees.

Committee Guidelines
The function of any committee is to assist the Board of Directors with programs/activities that advance the Willbrook community's mission and goals, as well as to utilize talents and knowledge of Willbrook residents.
There are generally two types of committees 1) Operating committees used by an association on a continual basis usually receiving funds for their operations. These committees can be set forth in the organization’s bylaws or in its board operations and policy manual or they may be established by custom. 2) Ad hoc committees are formed for a limited period of time to address a specific need. When the work of the ad hoc committee is completed, the committee is dissolved. This could be less than a year or more than a year depending on the extent of work required to complete the work assigned. These committees do not need operating monies to complete their missions.
The chair of all operating committees will be appointed by the current Board of Directors. All ad hoc committees will be elected by committee members. All committees should be comprised of no more than 5 to 7 community members including the chairperson. (Additional committee members will be determined by the chair of the committee and the Board of Directors.)
All committee members shall serve at the pleasure of the Board of Directors. The Board has the right and authority to disband and discontinue any committee, as well as appoint or dismiss any committee member with or without cause. The responsibilities of each committee may change at any time in accordance with the desires of the Board of Directors.
Committees should have a clear mission statement.
To maintain communications and accountability to the board, operating committee chairs shall provide the board member overseeing the operating committee a report of committee meetings and all action items. The board member shall add the report to the full Board of Directors meeting agenda. All operating committee projects and monies must be approved by the Board and brought forward by the board member overseeing any operating committee.
Ad hoc committee planned activities and events are to be reported to the Board by the committee chair.
