You must contact the ARB for the following:
- New construction
- Changes to existing dwelling
- Changes in exterior color
- Installation of new roof, windows, siding, brick, etc.
- Changes to existing landscaping
- Tree removal
You need to get approval before any external construction or changes to already approved dwellings or landscaping.
Whether or not your project requires ARB approval, it may require a permit from Georgetown County. Remember it is the Property Owner who is ultimately responsible for obtaining ARB approval and assuring the necessary permits are pulled from the county.
